Scope and current state
This notice describes three separately gated website services: the general Executive Education contact enquiry, an interest enquiry about an open-programme category, and an initial programme application. Each form and API remains unavailable unless Great Lakes explicitly releases that service. A programme application is not an admission decision, seat hold or payment.
Great Lakes’ broader institutional processing is described in the official institutional privacy policy. Great Lakes must reconcile that policy, this provisional notice and the final operating workflow before public launch.
Information, purpose and retention
Do not submit identity documents, payment information, financial-account details, health or diagnostic information, or other sensitive personal information through these public forms. Document upload is closed until governed storage and malware scanning are configured.

Purpose and choice
The required service acknowledgement records the stated use of the enquiry or application. It is not marketing consent and does not itself create admission, enrolment, payment or sponsorship. A separate, optional checkbox records whether the visitor would like Great Lakes Executive Education programme news and invitations. Declining that optional choice does not block the requested service, and the choice can be withdrawn later.
Great Lakes must approve the final legal basis, withdrawal route, suppression process and wording before either public intake or marketing delivery is released. No marketing message is sent by this website implementation itself.
Storage, sharing and receipt logs
Enquiries, applications, consent events and application-state history are stored in a server-side database supplied by the website hosting platform. They are not stored in browser local storage. Access must be limited to authorised Great Lakes personnel and service providers supporting the website. No transfer to an admissions, CRM, email or payment service is claimed unless that integration is configured, governed and verified.
The opaque signed receipt appears briefly in a confirmation URL and can therefore enter browser history and hosting access logs. It is not a password, but must be treated as pseudonymous data: production logging must redact receipt query values, exclude request bodies, restrict access and use an approved retention period before public release.
Retention
The current database rules mark general enquiries and programme enquiries eligible for deletion after 365 days, application drafts after 30 days, and submitted applications after 365 days. Linked consent and status-history records are deleted with the parent record. Rate-limit keys expire after 30 minutes. Maintenance runs every 15 minutes, so eligible records are removed on the next successful run.
These are provisional engineering limits, not a final institution-approved schedule or a guarantee when maintenance is impaired. Before public launch, Great Lakes and counsel must reconcile minimisation with applicable compliance duties, downstream systems, legal holds, traffic and processing logs, backups, deletion monitoring, consent withdrawal and final erasure.
Your choices
You may ask what information is held, correct an error, or request deletion subject to applicable obligations. Contact info@greatlakes.edu.in with the subject “Executive Education privacy request.” Identity may need to be verified without collecting excessive information.
Security and incidents
The site uses server-side validation, same-origin checks, per-form idempotency, short-lived pseudonymous rate limiting, minimal collection and security headers. No internet service is risk-free. Great Lakes must maintain incident response, access review, logging and vendor governance appropriate to the deployed service.
Adults and language access
This Executive Education enquiry route is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Anyone under 18 should contact Great Lakes with a parent or guardian. This preview notice is available in English; Great Lakes must approve its language-access and governed-translation process before public release. Contact the published privacy address for an accessible alternative.
International visitors
Legal obligations can depend on where Great Lakes offers or targets services and how visitors are monitored. Mere availability does not settle territorial scope. Great Lakes must complete jurisdiction-specific review before targeted international campaigns or participant-data processing.
